We are pleased to announce a series of upgrades to our wireless extender product line. In our continuous effort to improve product performance, enhance durability, and maintain competitive pricing, we will gradually transition our wireless extenders from metal housings to high‑quality plastic enclosures, while simultaneously adopting Wi‑Fi 6 modules wherever technically feasible.
Why Plastic Enclosures?
Modern engineering plastics offer excellent mechanical strength, thermal stability, and design flexibility, while significantly reducing weight and material costs. This change allows us to:
Lower overall product weight for easier installation
Improve resistance to corrosion and impact
Reduce manufacturing lead times and costs
Maintain the same reliability standards as metal enclosures
Wi‑Fi 6 Integration
To meet the growing demand for faster, more reliable wireless connectivity, we are integrating Wi‑Fi 6 (802.11ax) modules into our extenders. This upgrade delivers:
Higher data throughput and lower latency
Better performance in dense device environments
Improved power efficiency for extended battery life (where applicable)
Backward compatibility with existing Wi‑Fi standards
Implementation Plan
The transition will be phased gradually over the coming months. Existing models will be updated with new revisions, and future production batches will feature the new design. Important Compatibility Notice
All devices upgraded to the Wi‑Fi 6 version will be labeled with "WF6" on the rear tag to indicate the use of a Wi‑Fi 6 module. Please note that these new units feature completely new hardware and software and are not compatible with previous‑generation devices for pairing or mesh networking. If you are still using older version devices, please do not attempt to pair them with the new WF6 hardware and software.
